Let's have a fabulous and social day together in the Canadian Rockies!

Required Items to Bring:

Hiking boots, backpack, bear spray, food, Lots of water and your smiles, stoke, joy and enthusiasm. 


Recommended Items to Bring:

Poles.

To leave at parking lot (in vehicle):

Extra water, refreshments and after-hike nourishments.


How to Get There:
Event Directions:  

Smutwood Peak (Yes, we changed our minds!)  Leave Canmore 06.30 am (car pool location will depend on participants) to drive to Engadine lodge. Start hiking at 8.00am. Approx. 19km and 950m elevation gain. May take bikes for first 3-5km of flat trail.

Notes:

If we have not hiked or scrambled together before, please expect to fill out a screening questionnaire. We want to ensure a compatible and enjoyable group for everyone!




*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
