Itinerary:
Depart Lake O'Hara Parking Lot, ski to lake and enjoy our bagged lunch, ski back to car. 24km return. Light touring skis (60-80mm) preferred, classic skis may be accepted at trip leader's discretion.
Required Items to Bring:

Light touring skis (60-80mm underfoot with metal edges), skins, wax, boots, poles

Avalanche gear (while the road is ATES1, it does cross several avalanche paths and if hazard is high then avy gear is required)

Lunch, snacks, drinks

Warm layers

Personal blister kit



Recommended Items to Bring:

Emergency locator device (e.g. Garmin InReach, SpotX)

Group gear to share (organzied by trip leader):

- tarp

- first aid kit

- repair kit

Please send an email to laraguenette@gmail.com with a summary of your cross country/ight touring experience, ski ability (beginner/intermediate/advanced) in variable conditions, and relevant training (e.g. First Aid). 




*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
