Let's practice building and cleaning anchors! We'll tailor the evening to participants interest, but we'll likely cover: - Important features of good anchors - pros/cons of different arrangements and materials
- 2 bolt sport anchors - 3+ piece trad & ice anchors - how to clean a sport anchor
The format for the evening will be that the presenters show how an anchor is built/cleaned, then participants practice with input and coaching. There is lots of time for questions and every ability level is welcome!

| Notes: |
|
This event is part of an ongoing peer to peer mentorship series. This isn't a course taught by a guide, just enthusiastic amateurs who like practicing skills together. If you have topic ideas you'd like to see, or even a topic you'd like to present, reach out to Susan Twitchell to make it happen!

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
