Itinerary:

Only taking 1 participant on this one.

The classic football field piece of ice, right beside the road! We will climb either a line in the centre, or one more to the R side, depending on conditions, and how randy I feel.

This trip is NOT for beginners! If you are not up for leading, that is fine, but you need to have at least moderate (more than 5 climbs, recently) experience multi pitch ice climbing to participate.

Be super awesome at cleaning, (you must have clippers for your harness, to rack scews) lead belaying, (should know and be comfy with belaying on the harness, and fixed point off the anchor) and know how to organize yourself to stay comfy whilst climbing.

Required Items to Bring:

NO avy gear req.

Personal gear needed - helmet, harness, lockers, tools, crampons, boots, etc

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
