| Itinerary: |
We will skin up to Chester Lake, and then continue up to Elephant Rocks. This is a BIT/beginner friendly ski. I am not confident there will be enough snow for some good turns, so I'm very open to strong cross-country skiers and light-touring skiers. Lets just go have some early season fun.
UPDATE: I have added another Trip Leader. If you are interested, please sign up and let us know what gear you will be using.
| Required Items to Bring: |
Skis (AT, LT or XC), boots, poles. Wax and/or skins. Day pack with all the goodies, including some first aid. Lunch and water. If conditions look better and turns are on the menu, then avalanche gear is required: AST, transceiver, probe and shovel. Otherwise, we'll stick to the regular terrain. This will be discussed closer to the date.

| Recommended Items to Bring: |

Hot drink/thermos.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
