Itinerary:

We would plan to ski up the Hamilton Lake trail and gain elevation on the south ridge of Emerald Peak with as little exposure as possible, then pack or ditch the skis, followed by an interesting ridge traverse to the true summit.  Descent depends on conditions, if conditions allow, ski down to Emerald Lake = down the slide path, or back down the trail if too hot and/or spooky.  Leaving Banff at 6:30am.

Required Items to Bring:

Ice axe, boot crampons for summit ridge, helmet, all avalanche gear and the training to use it.
