Itinerary: |
Meet at the Tunnel Mountain reservoir (road side) at 5:00pm and depart lot at 5:15pm for the Industrial Playground.
We will walk the up-track "Top Notch" to the crag (be respectful of mountain bikers coming up behind us). Route grades vary from 5.9-5.11d. 20min approach.
To those I haven't met I'll be wearing a blue ball cap, black mammut backpack and a faded orange climbing rope!
*Beginners welcome but you must have passed the EP belay test (top rope only ok).
*New to climbing but don’t know how to get started? Take the “Learn the Ropes” program at EP, pass your belay test and come join us!
|
Required Items to Bring: |
*Participants must have their own shoes, harness, belay device, and helmet.
*Stick Clip is highly recommended at this crag as it's on a steep hill with a small belay ledge. I will bring one that can be shared but the more the merrier.
*Those who have them please bring PAS, quick-draws, and an anchor kit.
*I only have one personal rope. Highly recommended if you want to climb that you bring a rope if you have one :)

|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
Layers, snacks, water, rain jacket, hiking pole.
I will bring a Garmin Inreach, a basic first aid kit (I recommend you bring a personal first aid kit), and bear spray.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
