There's a 45min approach through the forest, above the highway to a small slab that has five sport routes. The grades are 5.7/5.8.

To those I haven't met I'll be wearing a blue ball cap, black Mammut backpack and a faded orange climbing rope!

*Beginners welcome but you must have passed the EP belay test (top rope only ok).

*New to climbing but don’t know how to get started? Take the “Learn the Ropes” program at EP, pass your belay test and come join us!

Required Items to Bring:

*Participants must have their own shoes, harness, belay device, headlamp, and helmet.

*Stick Clip is highly recommended

*Those who have them please bring PAS, quick-draws, and an anchor kit.

*I only have one personal rope. Highly recommended if you want to climb that you bring a rope if you have one :)

Recommended Items to Bring:

Layers, snacks, water, rain jacket, hiking pole.

I will bring a Garmin Inreach, a basic first aid kit (I recommend you bring a personal first aid kit), and bear spray.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
