Looking to take your climbing to the next level? Whether you’re curious about trying drytooling for the very first time or already experienced and hungry for new techniques, this one-day masterclass with Sarah is your chance to sharpen skills, build power, and discover what’s possible on tools.

Sarah will break down the fundamentals for beginners, then dial it up for more advanced climbers with precision movement, steep terrain strategies, and pro tips that make drytooling not just possible, but downright fun. Expect encouragement, challenge, and plenty of laughs along the way.

You’ll come away with:

  • Solid foundation in tool handling, body positioning, and footwork.

  • Strategies to conserve energy and climb efficiently.

  • A serious boost in confidence for ice and mixed climbing season.

Required Items to Bring:

Helmet

Harness

Belay device

Mountaineering or ice climbing boots

Ice tools

Crampons (mono- or dual-point)
Gloves (thin but durable)

Seasonal outdoor clothing (layered for comfort)

Lunch, snacks, and water


Notes:

Once you sign up you will be put on the waitlist until payment for the course is received. Please etransfer treasurer.accrms@gmail.com the full course amount to ensure your spot.

Member: $210 including GST

Trip Leader: $125 including GST


Participation in this activity is subject to you having a current membership and a current signed

ACC Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks Agreement (the “Waiver”), which is signed in conjunction with purchasing/renewing your membership.

 membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree to the foregoing waiver terms. Bookings

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
