This is a three day AST2 refresher based in the field with Jeff Bullock. Participants must have done AST2 in the past. A new AST2 certificate will not be issued at the end of the weekend.
Before the course, Jeff will send over a pre-program PDF with a bunch of info for pre learning then day one would be a skills day covering advanced companion rescue and snow science/pits and then day two will be a terrain selection day which would be a bigger touring objective.

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
