Two nights booked at Aster which sleeps eight but some are double bunk beds so would require some couples to sign up if you're interested in using those bed spaces. Helicopter flights are NOT available that Monday if that's your jam, you could fly in on Sunday and sort yourself out (likely Magog), or hike in some other way. There are flights on Wednesday going back to Shark Helipad had you wanted to take a flight out, or you could have your gear flown out at your expense ($6.00 a pound). The hut is $240 a night so it could be as reasonable as $30 per night if we have 8 pax = $60.00 but if the hut isn't full, it may shake out to be a bit more which I expect it might.
Objectives: Cautley Traverse (Wonder Peak across) The Towers (this one is across from Wonder Pass) Sunburst Peak to Wedgwood Traverse (maybe a loop around Gmoser ledges, maybe not)
These are scrambling objectives with some class 4 terrain. I've already climbed Assiniboine/Lunette and it isn't feasible in a day from Naiset so do not expect that we are doing that.
Heli bookings start from April 15th. Magog bookings for the day before, opens May 30th.
Frankly, if you want to just hang out and go look at the Nublet or something cruisy, I am not too fussed.
Little known fact is that the Naiset Huts were built by, and used to be managed by the ACC. They were built by AO Wheeler in 1925.
I personally love this area, maybe even more than the Lake O'Hara area but this is the first time I got the Naiset Huts to use as a base of operation and I am looking forward to it. I've been trying to get them for ten years...
