Itinerary:

Ski up Taylor Lake Trail towards lake, then towards Panomrama Ridge for low-angle turns. 5-6 hour day depending on the group and conditions.

Required Items to Bring:

AT or Tele boots, skis, skins, poles, avalanche gear (3 antenna beacon, shovel and probe), warm clothing, lunch, snacks, water/tea, personal blister kit & repair items for your ski set up. Group gear (Trip Leader): SPOT device, tarp, small first aid kit, and small repair kit. If participants have an emergency communication device (eg. InReach, etc) please bring it.


Recommended Items to Bring:

If carpooling, please bring some cash to help cover gas costs. Bring a helmet if you'd like, it's a speedy run on the summer trail back to the car.

Carpool meeting location will be determined once participants are confirmed. 




*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Rocky Mountain Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
